The Boerhaarshoeve lies   in the north of Holland, in the Provence Drenthe south of the beautiful village of Grolloo, amidst the state forests of Grolloo, Schoonloo, Hooghalen, Gieten, Borger, Gasselte and Odoorn. The stylish farm gives direct access to Drenthe's vast cycle track network. Forests, heathlands and meres are within walking distance. Grolloërholt, a site of historic interest and natural beauty, is situated next to the Boerhaarshoeve and provides free entrance to pedestrians. The menu 'Activities' provides suggestions for holiday activities, including a list of possible excursions.

Boerhaarshoeve has

• 2 group residences (De Deel and De Stal)
• 1 small camping site for up to 30 units
• 2 hiker's cabins
• Little stud-farm 

 

There are a lot of animals on the farm, such as: chickens, rabbits, a pot-bellied pig, Jack Russels and many horses. There is a volleyball field / playfield next to the farm. Besides, there is a playground with a sandpit, a climbing tower and a table tennis table next to the farm. The camping site itself has a climbing tower and a sandpit for the young ones.
